Made from the Bhut Jolokia – one of the hottest chillies known to man- this hot sauce offers great value. It is extremely well priced.
Using my three point rating system I arrived at the the following scores for an overall rating of 3.5 out of a maximum of 5 points
Whilst good when used as a marinade or as an ingredient in cooking,I find that when used as a condiment it is quite sour – with a strong vinegar note.
With this in mind, it is best when used in this way with foods that have a high salt content eg certain cheeses, sausages, kippers, etc. The heat level is good (not too hot) and it has a good Chilli flavour.
