Ingredients
For the salad:
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 pineapple, cubed
- 1 green mango, sliced
- 100g bean sprouts
- 100g cabbage, shredded
- 1 apple, sliced
For the dressing:
- 2 tbsp palm sugar
- 2 red chilies
- 1 tsp shrimp paste (terasi)
- 1 tbsp peanuts, roasted
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Prepare all vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling (if necessary), and cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
- In a mortar and pestle or food processor, grind the dressing ingredients into a smooth paste.
- In a large bowl, combine all the prepared fruits and vegetables.
- Pour the dressing over the fruit and vegetable mix.
- Toss well to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing rujak sayur!
