Ready to whip up some buffalo chicken sauce that'll knock your socks off? Here's our go-to recipe at The Chilli Workshop. It's dead easy and tastes amazing!
Ingredients
⅔ cup hot sauce (Frank's RedHot is a classic, but use your fave)
½ cup unsalted butter
2 tablespoons white vinegar
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Don't rush it - slow and steady wins the race!
Once the butter's melted, pour in the hot sauce. Give it a good stir.
Add the vinegar, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix it all up.
Let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Keep an eye on it and stir occasionally.
Give it a taste. Add salt if needed. Want it spicier? Chuck in more hot sauce!
Take it off the heat and let it cool a bit. It'll thicken up as it cools.
Notes
Pro tip: If you're not using it straight away, pop it in an airtight container. It'll keep in the fridge for up to a week.
