  • 2 kg (4-5 pounds) pork shoulder (also known as pork butt), boneless
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
